This thing is kinda awesome. I used this strictly on natural hair. Sometimes I do other people's hair so I tried it on all my frequent clients and it gives great results. Granted it dose work better on certain hair types. It takes some getting used to and even when you get the hang of it, it takes longer to finish than with a regular blow dryer. It takes me about an hour to get through my whole head (last picture). But my ends were smoother than it usually is with a regular blow dryer. Overall I highly recommend.

I have thick curly hair and it tangles easily especially when blow drying. It usually takes me a little under a hour to blow dry my hair and have it look a little straight. This not only cuts my drying time down to about 30 minutes, it helps my hair from tangles and breaking off. I also love the bounce and body I get. Get it!

Not even joking, this hair dryer brush took 5 minutes to completely dry my hair from towel dry, on the top setting. I’ve used it multiple times in the last couple of weeks, and it has not let me down once. Now, I wouldn’t quite call it a curler. I’ve tried many ways from twisting my hair around it and making a curling motion; to combing it from the top and attempting to flicking the bottom up; to pulling from underneath and curling it inwards. Every time my hair came out straight. I think because it’s such a large barrel, maybe my hair is just not long enough; but it does say it’ll curl short hair, hence the 4 star rating. Besides that though, the straightening aspect is beautiful. It creates a beautiful shine and a sleek appearance. Plus, it larger size really helps to keep a good grip and maneuvering it around your head. Overall, I highly recommend if you need to quickly dry your hair in the morning and want to straighten it as you dry.

This thing changed how I view all blow drying. I have naturally curly 3B hair. I have relaxed it & it still shows its curl whenever it chooses. This flattens it out & straightens it (even gives it a curl or a flip if I turn it a certain way) in under 8 minutes for my shoulder length hair. 100/10! I would repurchase it in a heartbeat. I’ve recommended it to every woman I know that blow dries her hair!

My favorite hair dryer is my current dryer brush, and I'm on the lookout for a good dupe! This is a solid contender, and I'm posting a photo of the two back to back, with the one everyone talks about (and my favorite) in teal with this one in black and gold.The size is good, a little skinnier and taller than my other, but not noticeably. The handle is just as comfortable to hold and it stays cool. The options are the same (teal has it at the bottom) with options for cold, low speed hot air, and high speed hot air. The high speed has less air volume in this unit (teal has more air coming out on the high setting). It is equally as hot, and the metal could be used for a bit more styling power with the heat.The first use had a bit of a plasticy or chemically smell (not burning, just like new plastic exacerbated by the heat), but this went away after a while.In terms of drying, it does dry well, maybe only a little slower than my current brush. The bristles seem a little more spread out which may slightly slow drying time, but not by a lot.Overall, I like it as a backup for my current brush, and it would be a cheaper alternative to more expensive brands. I would not replace my current with this, but it's a solid backup!
